How Does the GST Calculator Work?

Our GST calculator helps you easily determine the Gross or Net price of your product after applying the Goods and Services Tax. It offers two primary functions:

1. Add GST (Exclusive Amount)

Use this when your base price does not include GST yet. The calculator computes the tax amount and adds it to the original price to give you the final billed amount.

$GST Amount = (Base Price \times GST\%) / 100$
$Gross Price = Base Price + GST Amount$

2. Remove GST (Inclusive Amount)

Use this when your total price already includes GST and you want to find out the original net price before tax was applied.

$GST Amount = Total Price - [Total Price \times (\frac{100}{100 + GST\%})]$
$Net Price = Total Price - GST Amount$
